Barschule Rostock - American Cocktail College
Licensed centre of further education since 1992
The Barschule Rostock was established in 1992 as a gastronomie college.

In 1994 it obtained from the department of education the title "licensed college of further education". The close cooperation with the Hotelschule Rostock enabled the establishment of multitude training levels. You can achieve licensed qualifications in the following courses:

- Basic course in bar technology and bar service
- American Bartender
- Professionell Bartender
- Bar mixer licensed by the chamber of commerce and industry (CCI)
- Bartender licensed by the chamber of commerce and industry (CCI)
- Cocktail caterer
- Cruise liner training
- Show bartending, basic course
- Show bartending, extreme show tending
- Show bartending, Masters Degree
- Close up magic / Bartender
- World of Spirits
- Wine, Champagne and more
- Hobbymixer

Our Lecturer are well versed bartender with international experience and educational abilities. There are not more than 12 students in our bar studios. The methods are based on the grounds of the classical bartending especially the modern forms and international trends. Teaching methods are bound to the standards of American Bartending (US-Units with complete technique). All original made drinks are tasted by our students.

Another duty of the Barschule is to teach external in schools, hotel groups, shipping companies and bar chains. The trainings can be booked on side to take place everywhere in the world.

Every year approx. 400 students take the change to attend a course at our college. They came from 31 countries worldwide. The teaching language is German, but on demand there is the possibility to get the papers in English.

Our certificates are recognized worldwide and every student gets one in the German and English language.

The Barschule Rostock works closely with the Barschule Wien / Austria, Speedpour Melbourne / Australia and Extreme Bartending Vancouver / Canada and the Dr. Rahn School El Gouna / Egypt
